Guest Reviews & Ratings
The hotel was a bit small, especially the bathroom, and in need of updating, making it feel tired and not worth the price paid. However, the service was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was great for visiting Peace Park but lacked restaurant options outside of the hotel. The dining experience offered a good variety of Japanese and Western fare but could have been better with shorter breakfast queues.
The hotel's location near the Peace Park is perfect for exploring Hiroshima, but the rooms need attention. The service and dining options are excellent, and the price is reasonable.
My stay at the hotel was enjoyable overall. The rooms had a charming old-style but could use some updates, especially the standard rooms. Although on the small side, they were adequate and comfortable. The staff was incredibly polite and helpful, and we had a beautiful view from our room. The breakfast was good, but there were some minor issues. The service was terrific, and the location was just perfect for exploring Hiroshima and its main attractions.
I felt like I was stepping into a well-kept time capsule from 1986, with spacious and comfortable rooms available for an extra £30 to upgrade to a Club Exec room. However, the room layout could be inconvenient for some as I was against a wall, leading to some acrobatics to navigate around the bed.
